Car
Simulator for the Cadillac Deville Instrument Cluster. The Simulator
provides hardware for GMLAN - VLT and RS-232 communication protocols.
Incorporated Function Generator, Volt / Amp / Frequency Meter / PWM
meter etc. |
|
For
a future Cadillac Car to simulate an electrical subsystem we built
this DHL Simulator. Simulator includes GMLAN communication circuits,
position sensors, voltage / current displays, I/O's, PWM etc. |
|
Instrument
clusters simulator, customer: Ford. Simulator is capable for running
and monitoring 6 Instrument Clusters in the DV and PV testing, run
multiple test profiles according to Ford Test specifications. Ford
specified High and Medium speed CAN messages can be generated and monitored
during test. A compass and DIC simulation mode is provided using RS-485
communication. In the manual mode the simulator is used for the instrument
cluster software development. Capable to drive external cluster loads
up to 60A. |
|
Instrument Cluster Simulator for bench use. |
|
Ecostar and Ford Power Electronics:
A job that we did for Ecostar; Software development boxes with Analog and Digital inputs, dual voltage; CAN and RS-232 hardware to support communication protocols to emulator boards and PCs
|
|
Software development box built for Ford Power Electronics Division. Analog and Digital inputs, CAN and RS-232 hardware to support communication protocols to emulator boards and PCs
|
|
Ecostar Drive Systems Simulator box for software development.
|

A
Simulator for functional checks for the Auxiliary Controller module. Simulator
is capable to check for
multiple modes of operation
of the electronics module analog and digital IO’s and functional checks
with three PWM signal generation. |
|
A
simulator for the Auxiliary Motor Gate Drive Tester. |
|
Software development simulators used for Prototype samples and customized for DV and PV vehicle testing. |
|
Software development simulators used for Prototype samples and customized for DV and PV vehicle testing. |
|
This
is the first instrument cluster simulator job that we received directly
from one of the big automotive manufacturers. The portable simulator
is capable to test the instrument cluster functionality, do the day
time or night time simulation modes for TALC development driving two
independent instrument clusters. |
|
Trunk latches and door Motors loads and body controller functions simulator. |
|
TRW:
At
the beginning we started with a few small projects than we had the
challenge with this “Load box and function Simulator” development for
TRW. |
|
Seat
Track Sensor monitor module. |
|
SiemensVDO Automotive:
Instrument cluster simulator with body controller functions. |
|
Simple Breakout box with harness. |
|
VDO North America:
We had the chance to help VDO North America on a number of different Software simulator boxes and cluster bench simulators built for their use or to be delivered to the GM Flint development facility.
Car Simulator for the Cadillac Catera Instrument Cluster. The Simulator provides hardware for J1850 - VLT and RS-232 communication protocols. Has an incorporated Function Generator, Volt / Amp / Frequency Meter etc.

Our first customer, Spectrum Composites Inc. approached us in spring 1997 to design and prototype a circuit board for their future product, Service Express 24TM...KEY DROP SYSTEMS.
Design was challenging, requirements high. Characteristics: four layer PCB, 32 bit microprocessor, 2MBit RAM memory, real time clock, diagnostics, 80 drivers, etc.
A year later the Service Express hits the market. A success; and C&S Electronics, Inc. receives the “1998 Supplier of the year award” from Spectrum Composites.
Thank you SCI!

One
example of the different combinations of wire harnesses we built for
Ecostar.
|
|
EMC
testing requires sometimes special built test fixtures for data monitoring
or RF signals generation. Sometimes for the test lab conducting the EMC/RF
tests makes more economic sense to design and build the special RF fixtures
needed for the specific test than to purchase expensive professional
RF test equipment. |
|
A
multitude of wire harnesses built for instrument clusters DV / PV testing
and bench development. Up to 6 clusters and loads on the same wire harness.

Hand
build/modified ECU modules.
