Our first customer, Spectrum Composites Inc. approached us in spring 1997 to design and prototype a circuit board for their future product, Service Express 24TM...KEY DROP SYSTEMS. Design was challenging, requirements high. Characteristics: four layer PCB, 32 bit microprocessor, 2MBit RAM memory, real time clock, diagnostics, 80 drivers, etc.

A year later the Service Express hits the market. A success; and C&S Electronics, Inc. receives the “1998 Supplier of the year award” from Spectrum Composites. Thank you SCI!

EMC testing requires sometimes special built test fixtures for data monitoring or RF signals generation. Sometimes for the test lab conducting the EMC/RF tests makes more economic sense to design and build the special RF fixtures needed for the specific test than to purchase expensive professional RF test equipment.
